Getting Started Guide
New to Dividend Wealth? This walkthrough gets you from zero to a fully tracked dividend portfolio in about 10 minutes.
What you'll set up
Account → first portfolio → your holdings → dashboard → research tools → alerts. Each step links to a deeper guide if you want more detail.
Step-by-Step
Create your account
Sign up with your email or Google account. Verify your email and set up your profile to personalize the experience.
Create your first portfolio
From the dashboard, click "Create Portfolio" and give it a name (e.g., "Roth IRA" or "Taxable Brokerage"). Free includes one manual portfolio; Standard ($9.99/mo) supports up to 6 (1 linked + 5 manual); Premium and Lifetime are unlimited — see /pricing.
Add your holdings
Link your brokerage with Portfolio Link (Plaid or SnapTrade on paid plans / trial), import via CSV, or add transactions one at a time. For manual entry, use the original price and quantity from your brokerage statement — the system handles stock splits automatically.
See: Brokerage Linking guideExplore your dashboard
Once your holdings are in, your dashboard comes alive: dividend income projections, yield on cost, payout schedule, and portfolio analytics — all updated daily.
Research new ideas
Use the Stock Screener and Comparison tools to find dividend stocks that fit your strategy. Every stock has a Dividend Score (A+ to F) measuring safety, growth, and financial health.
Set alerts and watchlists
Build watchlists of stocks you're tracking, and set alerts for ex-dividend dates, dividend hikes, and price targets so nothing slips by.
