Dividend Calendar
Track upcoming ex-dividend dates and payment dates across the market, your portfolios, and your watchlists at /dividend-calendar.
Ex-date vs. payment date — know which one you are viewing.
You must own shares before the ex-dividend date to receive the payment. The payment date is when cash actually hits your account — usually two to four weeks later. The calendar lets you toggle between these two views so you never miss a record date.
Two Calendars, One Tool
Global Dividend Calendar
The main calendar at /dividend-calendar shows dividend events across the broader market. Use presets to focus on Dividend Aristocrats, Dividend Kings, high-yield names, monthly payers, REITs, tech dividends, or your own holdings and watchlists.
Portfolio Calendar
Inside each portfolio, the Calendar tab shows dividend events for holdings you actually own — both declared pay dates from recent history and upcoming declared or forecasted payouts. Amounts reflect your share count and can be masked by privacy settings on public portfolios.
Choosing a Preset
The preset dropdown at the top of the global calendar controls which universe of stocks is loaded:
- Your Portfolios — only tickers you hold across all portfolios (default). Dollar amounts reflect your actual share counts.
- Dividend Aristocrats — 25+ consecutive years of dividend growth
- Dividend Kings — 50+ consecutive years of dividend growth
- High Yield (4%+) — stocks yielding above 4%
- Monthly Payers — companies paying monthly dividends
- REITs — Real Estate sector
- Tech Dividends — Technology sector payers
- Your Watchlists — any saved watchlist appears in the dropdown once you are signed in

Use the prev/next arrows or Today to jump periods. Toggle Ex-Date vs Pay Date to change which date drives placement on the grid.
Filters & Watchlists
Quick filters
Inline controls let you search by ticker or company name, adjust yield range, pick a sector, and open advanced filters. Active filters show as removable chips below the toolbar.
Advanced filters
The advanced panel adds finer control:
- Sectors, market cap (Large / Mid / Small), and dividend frequency
- Minimum consecutive years of dividend growth
- Payout ratio range
- 1-, 3-, and 5-year dividend growth (CAGR) ranges
- P/E ratio range
Watchlist integration
Signed-in users see their watchlists in the preset dropdown (watchlist-{id}). Selecting a watchlist loads dividend events only for those tickers. Mock sample data is never shown for portfolio or watchlist presets — only live data or an empty state.
Reading Events & Summary Stats
Click any event on the calendar to open a detail card with the ticker, amount per share, yield, sector color, and key dates. Summary stats at the top aggregate the filtered set — total events, estimated income, and average yield for the visible period.
When viewing Your Portfolios, amounts multiply the per-share dividend by your total shares held across all portfolios — not just a generic per-share figure.
Declared vs. forecasted payouts
Portfolio calendars combine declared dividends (company-announced dates and amounts) with forecasted future payments modeled from each stock's dividend history. Forecast rows may show a confidence tier. This is different from Forward Income — the calendar focuses on timing and individual payments, not your 12-month run-rate yield.

Some static market presets may temporarily show sample data when live API data is unavailable — clearly labeled with an amber banner. Portfolio and watchlist views never display sample rows as if they were real market data.
